Making Human Rights a Reality in Mid-Missouri

We all agree that human rights are universal and that everyone should be afforded equal rights. But… what are our human rights? It’s impossible to enforce or support them if we don’t know what they are.

The Prost Foundation distributes materials based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a milestone document in the history of human rights, which was proclaimed by the United Nations in 1948.

The thirty human rights as outlined in this document form a standard of human rights that ensures essential freedoms for all that are vitally necessary to uphold in a free and fair society.

In alignment with our belief that the route to a better society is through education, the Prost Foundation supports the Youth for Human Rights initiative, which provides coursework, booklets and video properties that promote the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and make it easy to understand for the children of our community.

The Prost Foundation offers these materials and educator kits at no charge to anyone who requests them, and is happy to provide speakers to community groups and classrooms to deliver seminars on this vital topic.

Watch the 10 minute short, The Story of Human Rights and find out about the Universal Declaration and Human Rights and how YOU can help yourself and others.
